Summary:
Provide Subject Matter Expertise in the optimization and enhancement of Broadcast systems and technology. Additional responsibilities include installation, configuration, monitoring, upgrading, and repairing broadcast engineering systems & facilities.

Specific Responsibilities:
• Ensure the station is On–Air with no interruptions.
• Install, operate, maintain, modify, and repair broadcast equipment, including the latest multi‐media technology.
• Collaborate with other teams in the technical departments to ensure of multi‐language delivery of news and programming content.
• Create and update systems diagrams according to system expansion and modification.
• Manage material requisitions and project requirements. Evaluate bidder’s proposals.
• Provide technical support for all broadcast areas including:
Digital server recording and play out technologies
Broadcast operations
Digital Archive systems
Networking
Operating Systems (MS Windows, MAC OS, Linux…etc)
On Air Graphics and Creative system
Newsroom Systems
Non Linear Editing System
• Provide training and support to other engineers and staff members

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or related
Minimum relevant experience of 10 years
