Woodlands Health is Singapore’s latest public healthcare institution and provides care to residents in northwest Singapore. The Campus features a fully integrated acute and community hospital, specialist outpatient clinics, intermediate and long-term care facilities, and green healing spaces. We offer a range of acute, sub-acute, rehabilitative and transitional care services, working closely with our partners to provide seamless care within and beyond our Campus. When fully open, Woodlands Health will operate 1400 beds across 3 care settings.

Consultant Anatomical Pathologist

The candidate should demonstrate good teamwork and communication skills, strong working knowledge of laboratory operations, and a commitment to quality improvement: there are plans to introduce digital pathology in a few years. The candidate is expected to report both histopathology and cytopathology cases, including frozen sections and fine-needle aspiration specimens, and participate in quality assurance programmes, multidisciplinary meetings, and institutional or departmental committees.

Requirements

Interested candidates must meet registration criteria with the Singapore Medical Council, and hold a postgraduate qualification from the Royal College of Pathologists or the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia, or a qualification recognised by SMC. You must have completed a recognised advanced specialist training programme and eligible to be accepted for accreditation by the Specialist Accreditation Board.
